Cale is a communications and Government relations practitioner with extensive experience in all elements of communications. Additionally, Cale has a significant background in providing policy advice and issues management.

Prior to joining SEC Newgate, Cale was a Senior Adviser to the Western Australian Premier, Mark McGowan, for almost a decade in government and opposition. In this role Cale served as principal speechwriter and provided advice on key policy areas including energy, climate change, and other economic areas.

Cale’s practical experience has seen him work on a wide array of critical and high-profile communications matters including keynote speeches, major press conferences, scriptwriting as well as strategic digital and social communications.

Cale has worked extensively with stakeholders, managing complex policy briefs across government developing engagement, communications and campaign plans that enable the effective implementation of government policy.

He holds a Bachelor of Economics (International Business Economics) and a Bachelor of Arts (Political Science) from the University of Western Australia.
